MTV is telling it like it is. The cable music channel will premiere “MTV News at Night” on Monday at 8:30 p.m. The half-hour nightly news show will feature a cast of reporters covering breaking rock ‘n’ roll, entertainment, style and pop culture feature stories of interest to MTV’s young adult audience. “Unlike MTV’s ‘The Week in Rock,’ our weekly retrospective of rock ‘n’ roll news, ‘MTV News at Night’ will include more live action and less pre-produced segments,” said Linda Corradina, vice president, MTV News.
