Andrew H. Tisch has been named chairman and chief executive of Lorillard Inc., the tobacco subsidiary of Loews Corp. that is run by his billionaire family. Tisch, 40, will relinquish his post as president of Bulova Corp., another Tisch family holding, but will remain a director. Headquartered in New York, Lorillard makes Kent, Newport and True brands of cigarettes, along with other cigarettes, cigar and chewing tobacco products. J. Robert Ave will continue in the role of president of Lorillard. Herbert C. Hofmann has been named president and chief executive of Bulova. Hofmann had been chief operating officer of Bulova.
