7 Die in French Hotel Fire

PARIS —
A fire at a hotel in a suburb northwest of Paris killed seven guests and injured 17, police said Saturday. The fire began about 11 p.m. Friday in the stairwell of the Hotel Hennouf Gouta de Clichy in the suburb of Clichy and quickly spread through the top floor of the four-story hotel. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
