Airline Worker Is Critical After Being Struck by Jet

CHICAGO —
A Continental Airlines worker was critically injured by a Scandinavian Airlines Boeing 767 she was directing Saturday on a runway at O’Hare International Airport. Hope Lewellen, 22, “was backing the aircraft up and she got caught under the wheel,” an O’Hare worker said. “Apparently she dropped something and bent over to pick it up.”
