Recreation and Community Services Department will sponsor a family trip and two youth excursions.
The family trip will be Sept. 23 for team photo day at Dodger Stadium when the Los Angeles Dodgers will play the San Diego Padres. The fee is $6 per person, which includes transportation and admission. Buses will depart from Lakewood parks at 11 a.m. and return about 5 p.m.
One youth trip will be Nov. 10 to see the Jets in concert at the Universal Amphitheatre. The cost is $19 per person, which includes a main-floor seat and transportation. Buses will depart from Lakewood parks at 6 p.m. and return about 11:30 p.m.
On Dec. 15, the trip will be to a concert by the New Kids on the Block, also at the Universal Amphitheatre. The cost is $22 per person, which includes main-floor seating and transportation. Buses will leave from city parks at 6 p.m. and return about 11:30 p.m.
Transportation to all events will be by air-conditioned touring coaches. Seating is limited and reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, call 920-7947.
