Following are the minimum and maximum teacher salaries for the various school districts in the county over the last two completed school years. Most districts are still negotiating contracts for the 1989-90 school year, while others are awaiting approval by the teachers’ unions or the school boards.

Some districts offer longevity salary rates--annual bonuses based on completion of additional course units and length of service. Countywide, that length of service varied from 20 to 31 years. These salaries are included on the second line under the “maximum salary” heading for those school districts offering them.
