The Many Views of ‘Days of Rage’
I know firsthand what happened in Palestine and Cyprus because I was in that area of the Middle East from 1945-48 as a commando with the British army. As part of the mandate that the League of Nations gave to Britain, we soldiers had to relocate hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.
The Jewish community, particularly in the United States, has stifled any attempt to set the record straight.
