Tasteful T.V. Wins at Fairplex Park

Tasteful T.V. won for the second time in three outings Wednesday by winning the $42,480 Bustles And Bows Stakes Wednesday afternoon at Fairplex Park in Pomona.

Tasteful T.V., the 8-5 favorite, stalked early leader Dramatic Joy before she took over in the stretch.

The filly won in 1:16 3/5--the fastest of the four runnings of the Bustles And Bows. The victory was worth $24,480 to the Brian Mayberry-trained horse.

She won by four lengths under jockey Martin Pedroza. Dramatic Joy, making her second start, finished 3 1/2 lengths ahead of third-place Horsche.

Tasteful T.V., who became the first betting favorite to win a Fairplex Park stakes this season, returned $5.20, $2.80 and $2.60. Dramatic Joy paid $3.40 and $3.40. Horsche returned $3.20. The $5 exacta paid $37.50.
