The Citadel will still play South Carolina...
The Citadel will still play South Carolina State Saturday, but the Charleston (S.C.) military school won’t be the home team in the hurricane-ravaged city.
Hurricane Hugo damaged Johnson Hagood Stadium when it swept through South Carolina, forcing Citadel officials to seek another site for the game.
The game will be played Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, home of the University of South Carolina. The Gamecocks will be at Georgia.
