EEOC Sues USAir: The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has sued USAir to recover $1 million to $1.5 million in lost wages for about 300 former Pacific Southwest Airlines flight attendants forced to take leaves of absence from their jobs after the first trimester of their pregnancies. The EEOC said the policy was discriminatory. USAir, which acquired PSA in April, 1988, had no comment on the suit.
