Undercover Effort to Seize Workers
If Al Pacino reads the “Costa Mesa Sting” story on the front page of the Orange County Edition of the Times (Sept. 21), he may find his next great role: an undercover officer posing as a plumbing contractor to save this city from the dayworkers who are terrorizing it.
Just imagine the drama: The combined forces of four police cars and six officers subduing those 12 insidious Latinos who dared to try to earn money to feed themselves and their families. They can call the movie “Aliens III.”
