Oxy Sells, Exxon Buys

Occidental Petroleum Corp. said today that its domestic oil and gas unit, Oxy USA Inc., has sold its interests in oil-producing properties in four states to Exxon Corp. for $148 million.

Occidental, of Los Angeles, said the sale included the unit’s 15.7% interest in the Hartzog Draw Unit in Campbell County, Wyo., and small interests in six other producing units in Alabama, New Mexico and Texas.
