A man believed to connected with a March 2 shooting death in Mira Mesa was picked up Tuesday by authorities in Baltimore, a San Diego police spokesman said Thursday.
An extradition hearing for William McCorkle, 30, was scheduled for today in Baltimore, spokesman Bill Robinson said.
McCorkle had been sought in connection with the death of Kenneth Bland, who was shot in the head and found dead inside a car on Pagoda Way, he said.
Once back in San Diego, officials said, McCorkle will be held on suspicion of homicide.
