FREEWAY TALES

Here’s one for you: I’m sure everyone would agree that the job of flossing your teeth takes two hands (“Tales From the Freeway,” by Jack Jones and Elizabeth Venant, July 20). So imagine this: 60 miles an hour, entering the “S” curve into downtown San Diego, lanes narrowed to accommodate construction and--you guessed it! I never did figure out how he kept the car on the road.
