John Lennon will be remembered at 6 p.m. today at a birthday party and peace vigil sponsored by the Los Angeles Alliance for Survival. He would have been 49. The gathering--which will include a candle lighting and birthday cake ceremony--will be held at Lennon’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located in front of the Capitol Records Building at 1750 N. Vine St.
