A fired defensive coordinator informed the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. that $4,000 was given to him by former Florida football coach Galen Hall, the Palm Beach Post reported.
Sources said Coach Zaven Yaralian played a key role in Hall’s negotiated resignation Sunday. Hall resigned after admitting that he violated NCAA rules regarding unreported payments to coaches.
