San Ysidro
A pregnant San Ysidro woman was fatally stabbed Friday, a police spokesman said.
Rosaura Morales, a 28-year-old mother of seven, was found with stab wounds by police inside her apartment in the 500 block of West San Ysidro Boulevard at 3:30 a.m., spokesman David Cohen said.
The victim’s seven children, ages 1 to 8, were home during the incident. Cohen said the motive for the stabbing is unknown and detectives do not have any suspects, though they are checking into unconfirmed reports that Morales was stabbed by her boyfriend.
