A Lack of Concern

Mike Granberry’s brief, yet most enlightening and effective article (“Hit-and-Run Deaths Stir Call for Traffic Light in National City,” Sept. 30) reveals the true tragedy behind this blatant disregard for human life in our fine, fine city. The lack of information offered to Granberry, and the tidbits that were thrown out by our apathetic, constipated bureaucracy not only insult our intelligence, but reveal the insidious lack of concern by those very people we pay to keep our community safe!
