LA HABRA : 10 La Habra Teachers to Get Mentor Pay

Ten La Habra City School District teachers will receive an additional $4,000 apiece next year for serving as mentor teachers under a state-funded program.
The school board voted to continue participation in the program, in which a committee selects veteran teachers to serve as mentors, training other teachers.
The mentors also are expected to work two weeks during the summer on special projects.
