Beautiful! It was absolutely beautiful to watch the House of Representatives on C-Span Oct. 4. Finally, the House voted 84.5% for repeal of the infamous Catastrophic Medicare Surtax law.
It was great to watch that arrogant Rep. Dan Rostenkowski (D-Ill.) eating crow. A few months ago, he would not even allow debate in his House Ways and Means Committee.
Finally, the Congress has listened to the elderly middle-income taxpayers who were put in the highest tax bracket of any segment of the population for medical coverage they did not want!
