Members Sought for Advisory Panels

FULLERTON — There are openings on several city committees and commissions that advise the City Council on civic issues.
Positions are open on the Planning Commission, Community Services Commission, Airport Noise and Safety Committee, Energy Resource and Management Committee, Library Board of Trustees and two redevelopment project area committees.
The Planning Commission reviews applications for building site plans, conditional-use permits, variances and zoning permits. Decisions by commission members help shape the future look of Fullerton. It meets two nights a month.
The other commissions and committees meet monthly or less often.
Applications for the openings may be picked up at City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave. The deadline to return applications is Nov. 1. Call (714) 738-6311 for information.
