Curtis Currin, a 24-year-old systems engineer from Redwood City, was working on a church steeple at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Los Altos when the earthquake struck.
The steeple collapsed and he fell with it, suffering traumatic injuries when the structure crushed him. He died about an hour later.
