L.A. Baptist 34, Maranatha 0--L. A. Baptist scored 26 second-quarter points and Colin Van Buren rushed for three touchdowns to lead the Knights in an Alpha League game at San Marino High.
Fullback Dan Stepper led all rushers with 60 yards in 10 carries and quarterback Chris Robinson connected on five of nine passes for 108 yards, including three to John Darby for 98 yards.
L. A. Baptist (6-1, 2-0) held Maranatha (1-6, 0-2) to 50 total yards while amassing 259 yards in offense.
