IRVINE : Crash Kills Couple in Desert Hot Springs
An Irvine man and his wife were killed Sunday afternoon in a three-vehicle accident in Desert Hot Springs, the Riverside County coroner’s office reported.
The couple, identified as Lawrence Beck Jr., 44, and his wife Blanca Beck, 48, died in the 2:50 p.m. accident on Palm Drive just north of 20th Avenue, said Daniel Holstein, a deputy county coroner in Indio. A third person was killed in one of the other cars, but his identity had not been determined late Sunday, Holstein said.
