YPSILANTI, Mich. — Road conditions apparently caused the wreck of a bus that was carrying senior citizens to an outing, authorities said Sunday, and at least 43 of the 46 passengers were hurt.
The bus flipped over Saturday afternoon as the group was on its way to an orchard and cider mill in Ypsilanti Township. “The driver got too close to the roadside and it started to crumble on him,” said police Sgt. Dennis Watkins.
