WORLD : China Resumes Citizen Returns

HONG KONG —
China said today that it would resume accepting the return of its citizens found living illegally in Hong Kong, the first sign of a thaw in recent frosty relations between the British colony and Beijing.
The official New China News Agency and the Hong Kong government said in a brief joint statement that China would again accept the return of illegal immigrants starting Tuesday.
