Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 66-year-old Southeast San Diego man who was apparently strangled early Monday, a police spokesman said.
Ovidio Ruiz( was found in the trailer in which he lived in the 3000 block of Webster Avenue, spokesman Dave Cohen said.
Police found Ruiz after a neighbor heard glass breaking and saw someone leaving Ruiz’s trailer with a television set. Ruiz was taken to San Diego Physicians & Surgeons Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 1 a.m., Cohen said.
