Frank Gives Chapman Women a Soccer Victory

Lisa Frank headed in a goal with 20 seconds left to play, giving Chapman a 1-0 victory over Cal Lutheran in a women’s nonconference soccer match Monday at Thousand Oaks.

Frank’s goal came on an assist from Tiffany Drobnik. Chapman is 5-9-2. Cal Lutheran is 4-10-1.

In nonconference women’s tennis:

Mississippi 7, Cal State Fullerton 2--The Titans got an early start on their season, losing to Mississippi at Fullerton. Kelli Moore and the doubles team of Caroline Sporer and Colleen Duignan got the only Titan victory. Fullerton next meets UC Irvine Jan. 23 in their Big West Conference opener.
