Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer says he will make a bid to move the San Francisco Giants to New Orleans if team owner Bob Lurie pulls the club out of Candlestick Park. The Giants have two years remaining on their lease with San Francisco and have said they will move if the city doesn’t build a new stadium. Voters are scheduled to approve or reject financing for a new stadium in a referendum next month.
