Pico Rivera : Private Firm Wins Contract to Run Golf Course

A private company will soon take over maintenance and operation of the Pico Rivera Municipal Golf Course.
The City Council has voted unanimously to award the contract to National Golf and Tennis Inc. The company will pay the city $1.2 million over a five-year period to run the golf course.
The council action is part of a plan to reduce city expenditures by contracting with private companies. Next, the city plans to award a private contract to the operator of the Pico Rivera Equestrian Center.
