HUNTINGTON BEACH : Teen-Agers Sought in Shooting That Hurt 3
Police said Sunday that they are still seeking teen-age suspects who shot and injured three other teen-agers during a weekend birthday party.
Police said a group of Vietnamese males, between the ages of 16 and 18, began shooting at other Vietnamese teen-agers during a party Saturday night at 17341 Coronado Lane. About 75 youths attended the party, police said, and the shooting occurred at 8:35 p.m.
The victims were identified by police Sunday as Vu Nguyen, 18, Westminster, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest; Dung Nguyen, 18, Huntington Beach, who was shot in the buttocks, and a 16-year-old Vietnamese girl from Huntington Beach who was shot in the right arm.
Police said Vu Nguyen and the girl were taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, and Dung Nguyen was taken to Humana Hospital-Huntington Beach. All three are in stable condition, police said Sunday.
