Arts Group Lists Grant Recipients
LONG BEACH —
The Public Corporation for the Arts, the arts council for Greater Long Beach, announced that $489,000 in grant money has been awarded to 32 Long Beach organizations and 11 individual artists.
The program is funded by the city of Long Beach and the local grants program of the National Endowment for the Arts.
An award ceremony and reception will be held Nov. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Mayor Ernie Kell will present the awards.
