Alexei Kasatonov, 30, a defensive standout on the Soviet national hockey team, may be joining former teammate Viacheslav Fetisov on the NHL’s New Jersey Devils. Kasatonov’s release is under consideration, and a final decision will be made in a few days, said Viacheslav Trushkov of the Soviet sports committee.
