Stump Merrill will reportedly become the new manager of the Columbus (Ohio) Clippers, the New York Yankees’ Class AAA farm team. Merrill will replace Bucky Dent, who was appointed manager of the Yankees. A Clippers spokesman said he could not confirm the report but said there will be an announcement soon.
