2 Injured in Crash
Two people were injured Saturday night when a car being pursued by San Diego police struck another vehicle on the Ventura Bridge, authorities said.
Police said one, and possibly both, of the injured motorists were taken to UCSD Medical Center by Life Flight helicopter. Trapped victims were removed from the cars with the Jaws of Life. Details were sketchy late Saturday and authorities had not released the identities of the victims.
Police said the chase started about 8:35 p.m. when officers spotted a stolen vehicle on Mission Boulevard in Pacific Beach.
