Fullerton police said today they are trying to learn the identity of a pedestrian killed in an auto accident at Acacia and Chapman avenues.

The man was killed and another pedestrian slightly injured when they were struck by a car at the intersection about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The accident occurred when Mary Frances Kady, 46, of Fullerton allegedly ran a red light as she drove south on Acacia Avenue, according to police. Her car collided with a vehicle driven by Tommy Philavong, 18, of Fullerton. The force of the impact pushed Philavong’s car into the two pedestrians.
