About 10,000 gallons of sewage spilled into Canyon Creek in Oceanside Saturday morning, a County Department of Health Services spokesman said.
The spillage, the result of a line blockage, began around 4:30 a.m. at the pump station at Garrison Street and Mesa Drive. The spokesman said warning signs have been posted in Canyon Creek and Loma Alta Creek.
