PPG Announces Sale

PITTSBURGH — PPG Industries has announced the sale of PPG Hellige B.V., its medical electronics operation in Best, the Netherlands, to Drager Nederland B.V.

Terms were not disclosed.

“The transaction is part of an ongoing rationalization of PPG’s global medical electronics business to strengthen operational efficiency and focus,” said Edward F. Voboril, vice president and general manager of PPG’s Biomedical Systems Division.
