USC, which got a 10-10 tie Saturday at the Coliseum when a last-second 54-yard field-goal attempt by UCLA’s Alfredo Velasco hit the crossbar and bounced back, fell out of the top 10 in the wire-service polls Monday for the first time in almost two months.
The Trojans (8-2-1), dropped from eighth to 12th in both the United Press International and Associated Press polls.
