‘TIS THE SEASON: For one brief shining moment today, Ritz-Carlton hotel general manager Henry Schielein would like Dana Point and Laguna Niguel to forget their squabble over the Monarch Beach strip. . . . Some Laguna Niguel residents have sued Dana Point to recover the 1.5-mile strip that includes the hotel. . . . Schielein has invited city council members from both areas to attend the hotel’s Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, saying, “This time of year is a good time to bury all hatchets.”
