J. T. Breeden of Los Angeles needs a source for Lycra “Man Dates” men’s shorts; the May Co. no longer carries that brand. Can you help before our reader comes up short, or will Breeden be able to bear up under the wear and tear of the search?

William H. Dowe of La Mesa and Verna Newland of Downey would like to find a store in Los Angeles or San Diego that sells sealing wax , for sealing letters with a signet ring. Can you come up with some names before our two readers wax indignant, or will they have to run around in circles until they get our seal of approval?

Mrs. R. C. Jones of Arcadia is desperate for some doorstop alarms that are set off when doors are opened; these alarms are to prevent a relative with Alzheimer’s from wandering off without the family’s knowledge. Can you give Jones some peace of mind, or will she personally have to play Katie Bar the Door?

Laura at (714) 492-4071 has her heart set on obtaining a Spalding or Sun Mountain super-lightweight waterproof nylon golf bag that was last made about seven years ago .
