THE SIDELINES : 2 ABC Crash Victims Identified

From Times Wire Services

Two people who were killed Monday night when a commuter train plowed into a bus that became stuck on the tracks were identified today as ABC-TV executives heading to a National Football League game.

Police said Kurt Michael Sanger of New York, marketing director for ABC-TV sports, and Adele H. Roffis of Culver City, a network sales executive, died.

Six other people on the chartered bus were injured, but only the driver was hospitalized, officials said.

The bus was part of a convoy of four vehicles carrying network employees and their clients to Candlestick Park to watch the San Francisco 49ers play the New York Giants as part of ABC's celebration of the 20th anniversary of Monday Night Football.
