A’s Share of Players’ Pool Is $114,252

A full share for the World Series champion Oakland Athletics was worth a record $114,252.11, and a share on the losing San Francisco Giants was worth $83,529.26, the commissioner’s office said today.
The players’ pool from the playoffs was $12,110,808.77, up from the previous record of $11,969,881. The players’ pool comes from the first four games of the playoffs and the first four games of the World Series.
The previous record for a winning share was $108,664.88 for the Dodgers last year.
