USC, Long Beach Open Play in NCAA Volleyball
The NCAA women’s volleyball tournament begins tonight with fourth-ranked Cal State Long Beach (27-5) playing host to San Diego State (19-17) and No. 14 USC (19-12) at Palo Alto to play No. 8 Stanford (17-11).
Both games begin at 7:30.
Top-ranked UCLA (27-2) is scheduled to play its first-round match against unranked Pepperdine (20-9) Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Wooden Center.
The NCAA finals will be held in Hawaii Dec. 14-16.
