Enron Corp., Houston, has promoted Ronald J. Burns to president of the gas pipeline group. Formerly president, Enron Interstate Pipelines, Burns now will have responsibility for Enron’s intrastate and interstate pipeline companies, which include Northern Natural Gas, Houston Pipe Line, Florida Gas Transmission, Transwestern Pipeline, Northern Plains Natural Gas and Enron Gas Marketing.
