El Monte Board Plans Runoff Election Jan. 23
The El Monte Union High School Board has voted to hold a special runoff election Jan. 23, 1990, because of a tie in the November election.
Candidates Jim Marin and Robert Brown both received 2,482 votes in that election, tying for the third open seat on the school board.
Marin is an assistant principal in the Pomona Unified School District. Brown is an incumbent.
