The Pacific Telesis Foundation of San Francisco has given $25,000 to the Pacific Symphony to help underwrite two concerts in Orange County school districts and two more through the orchestra’s Hispanic Outreach Program. The school concerts will take place Jan. 22 at Anaheim High School and April 2 at Fullerton High School; the outreach concerts will take place at Santa Ana High School Feb. 18 and April 22. All four concerts will be conducted by the Pacific’s assistant conductor, Lucas Richman. The grant--the Foundation’s first to the orchestra--also will underwrite instrumental workshops and lecture-demonstrations at county high schools, and will provide 100 tickets each month to high school students for the orchestra’s concerts at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
