John Smith, Sergei Beloglazov, Bruce Baumgartner and 19 more of the world’s best freestyle wrestlers will compete today in Pittsburgh in a $65,000 invitational being billed as the World Wrestling Grand Championships.

The winner will receive $4,000 and the loser will get $1,000 in the first 10 matches. In the feature match, Smith, a two-time world champion at 136 1/2 pounds, and Beloglazov, a six-time champion, will wrestle for $10,000, with the winner getting $8,000. A $5,000 bonus will go to the outstanding wrestler.
