Two days after he was severely injured when he crashed his bicycle into a limousine, a cyclist has been identified by relatives, La Habra police said today.

Jesus Solorzano Mendoza of Buena Park, in his late 20s, was listed in critical condition at UCI Medical Center, where he has been semiconscious with head injuries since the accident on Christmas Day, police and hospital officials said.

Mendoza reportedly swerved his 10-speed bicycle across several lanes of traffic and crashed into the side of the Cadillac limousine about 12:25 p.m. Monday on La Habra Boulevard near Marian Street, suffering head injuries, officers said.

He struck a car driven by limousine company owner Edward Dexter, 62, of Whittier, who was taking his mother-in-law to the hospital for treatment of an undisclosed ailment, police said. Dexter was not cited.
