The Metaphysician
Wow! Not only is Oliver Stone a great film maker, he’s an amateur metaphysician (“The Latest Exorcism of Oliver Stone,” Dec. 17)! Consider his prognosis for George Bush: Your soul is dead, Mr. President. Please shoot yourself.
We think that’s very weighty advice from a formerly suicidal teen-ager turned film-making genius.
By the way, Oliver, it’s not an either/or proposition; some people are born crazy and boring.
